I quickly put together this little outfit to represent my mood for the day. Very light and fun, whimsically sweet, yet still luxurious. I think I'm going to go outside to soak up the sun and munch on blueberries after this little blog post! Anyway, I don't know what I'll be doing the rest of the day...to be honest, I really feel like partying, but I know that isn't necessarily a good idea, at least, not for right now. On a random side note, I've been having terrible insomnia the past few nights because I get so antsy coping myself at home, and I giddily dream of outfits I want to purchase and parties I'll be attending, that I can't fall asleep. Except now I just feel like I have spent more time planning and dreaming then actually going out and accomplishing. And on another random side note, I finally convinced my father to let me get my belly button pierced...except I have no idea where to go. I'd rather not go to some random hick place and risk infection, but I don't know many people with piercings to get a good reference. Hrm.

Do you think about me now and then?

I found the Prada Spring/Summer 2008 ad campaign to be exquisitely impressive and inspiring. Everything from the colors to the models and from the bags to the shoes was simply perfection. Usually I quickly dismiss designers from my mind because I hate lusting over things in which I have no possibility in possessing, but I simply can't resist this craving for one of those bags! I know it's impossible for me to afford...but for once, I don't mind dreaming.

Today I did something I RARELY ever do...I walked into a Tilly's! But it wasn't so much as my own random impulse as it was my sister dangling her birthday gift cards to the store in front of me, and gift cards are practically free money, so I couldn't help myself. When I got in, it wasn't at all impressive. It's very much the cliché "bro" store that I always figured it would be, with the exception of a few cute (but basic) items.
A few of those pieces are featured above. They caught my eye, as they practically are my summer obsessions, and since I need an outfit for the Electric Daisy Carnival anyway...I figured I might as well snag them as a back up just in case I can't find anything else. What do you think? Of course, I still don't have my shoes, bottoms, hair, or makeup planned for this outfit yet, but I'm at a lost when it comes to thinking of what would look good with it. Should I stick with this combination or try something else entirely?
Oh, and the problem with most jean shorts is that they are too short and my thunder thighs would probably engulf everyone with it's blubber. And for shoes, I'd prefer heels because they make my legs look leaner, but at the same time, it's going to be A LOT of walking and dancing...so comfortable is a factor...but so is looking hot. And since it is a rave, I am allowed to be obnoxiously fabulous :P

Please give me some suggestions!
