"No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path."

1. 2. 3.

Certainly an interesting weekend! I know the pictures above are random, but I think they capture the beauty and electricity of the summer, along with my new found inner peace. It may be temporary as I am quite relaxed after yesterday, but I intend to ride out this lovely feeling of serenity for as long as it lasts! :o)

Also for the past few days I've been reading up on Buddhism. I practice no structured religion, but rather take different beliefs from all different kinds to form my own opinions. I'm not trying to push any sort of belief on anyone, but if you are feeling at all stressed out or run down as I was, I do suggest skimming an article on meditation or something, it truly does wonders!

Oh, and just in case anyone was curious, I have officially straightened out my feelings for a certain someone. :P After last night I realized that I really couldn't be anything more then just playful friends. Sure, we have fun, but he isn't exactly the type of man I could take seriously and I'm really glad to keep it the way it is. And truly, it is SUCH a relief to have that figured out, I don't think anyone likes feeling so vulnerable and confused, especially with something as fragile as your heart.

Anyway, how was your weekend? ♥

Those pictures are taking me to such a lovely frame of mind. I had my wisdom tooth taken out today so these are the ultimate escape :)

My weekend was full of friendly gatherings and working. I adore those pictures, they describe your feeling so well. I am like you with religion. I don't practice any sort of firm beliefs, but I do enjoy forming my own opinions (mostly based around Buddhism) and just loving the world for what it is.

great pics, i love the colour combinations, although they don't really describe the weekend of rain we've had here...!

to answer your question:

Nicole kidman and Tom Cruise adopted two kids when they were married Connor and Isabella, I think connor is 14 or so now and Isbella is around 16/17. They live with Tom, you see them at events sometimes but not too often.
