you've got to promise not to stop when I say when.

Photobucket

P.S. I'm on a mission to loose some excess pounds, does anyone have any tips or know of any online communities? I've been trying to find a good website that allows you to keep track of your progress, but also lets you chat with other people for motivation and what not. :) I'm not sure about my exact weight since the scale terrifies me, but it's around 140 lbs and I'm about 5'2", so eventually I'd like to get back down to 120, though I do realize it'll take some time. I also realize that healthy eating and exercise is just about all I need, I just wanted to know if any of you had any tips in making the process a tad bit easier so I'm less likely to fail.

hmm i dont know any good websites- but 20 pounds is alot to drop! i think its important to eat breakfast- try only eating white and not the yolk. and alot of running and stretching will get you far. when you want a cookie- eat the cookie, just dont eat two :D good luck!

Hmm... About the weight... I don't know your eating habits but Christmas time is probably the worst time of year to start a diet ;) No, I would suggest you stick to the three meals a day, and at these meals just eat as much as you need so that you're not hungry anymore, and I suggest eating sweets/candy only once a day. Exercise is always more fun in a group, so why don't you find yourself an amateur gymnastics group or something? Good luck - and very true quote!!

My friend did this detox thing back in August and she lost about 10 or so pounds from it. She kept th weight off by doing it every other month and through yoga. Im not sure about the details though-- as for motivation.. well, you have us! ;-)

Amen, sister!
Good for you for trying to get healthier - I don't know of online support but my best advice to you is cut out carbs, particularly at night. You will be floored by how fast you lose weight! Let me know how it goes!

Drink 3L of water a day.
Cut out booze, coffee try drinking ONLY water as a beverage (hard I know)
Cut up veges & leave them in your bag/on your desk - just in case you get peckish
Have breakfast.
Have breakfast.
If you can, try not to have carbs at night... not compulsory, just try if you can.
Have I mentioned make sure you eat breakfast?

:) Good luck! LOVELOVELOVE that quote xx

abt the web, you can try allure.com, they have sth called a makeover thing there. see if it suits you.and i suggest you to take everything slowly.. try to change your daily habits into more healthier one. like substituting ice-cream by yogurt and eating a smaller portion, that would be easier for you to adapt into the new lifestlye.

btw, i gave your blog an award :)
